Shelly Peary
Welfare Officer
Hi I'm Shelly, new chair of WPSC, no idea how I fell into the role but here I am! Bear with me as I get to grips with it. I first paddled with WPSC probably 15+ years ago and loved it from my first time. I'm no better now than I was back then but that's doesn't matter as it makes me happy every time I'm on the water.

Chris Scott
Secretary/Safety and Equipment Officer
I have taken on a number of roles within the club over the last 20 odd years and am now currently a Safety Officer, Secretary and Kit officer. All important roles to ensure the club has the kit and equipment and people to deliver the safe, fun and educational courses, trips and weekly sessions for our members. I look forward to meeting people and helping them get the most out of the club and experience some of the fantastic things that paddling has to offer.

Gary Cadman
I.T. Officer
Hi, I look after our I.T. related things such as WebCollect and the Website. I'm also an Open Water Canoe Coach

Kay Hocking
Vice Chair
I joined the club in 2020, having never paddled before. I’ve since paddled The Great Glen Canoe Trail, wild camping along the way. Not bad for an old bird! I’ve enjoyed many trips with the club and look forward to many more in the not so distant future.

Tom Thomas Safety and Coaching Officer
My name is Tom and I’m the club Coaching Officer. I organise most of the Personal Performance and Coaching Award assessments that go on through the club. I really enjoy all aspects of the club but get increasing pleasure from seeing others develop into skillful paddlers, coaches, leaders and active members of the club.

Emma Watson
Social Secretary
I love the outdoors! From walking, paddling and running to swimming andb camping, I love an adventure, seeing the world and meeting new people as I go!

Rachel McClumpha
Chair
I'm a photographer but in my spare time, I love a bit of adventure and getting outside my comfort zone trying outdoor activities. I joined the club with my son in 2021 and found my love for Sea kayaking and generally being on the water.

Amy Bains
Treasurer
I joined the club in 2020, looking to pick up a new hobby during lockdown. A few years down the line and I’m still here, still learning and still loving every second on the water.
